"Great!"2009-07-18 By Mohammed Khawaja (IL, Chicago Ridge) Awesome product. Tho it says to take 3 pills a day, that is really not needed. One pill a day is good enough to keep your diet balanced. So if you are on a diet and you are missing a bunch of other nutrition values then this is the right stuff for you. This is for men, not women! There is a different type of product for women. Search Amazon.com or Google it.
"Great but overkill"2008-08-08 By R. Burke I've really enjoyed the opti-men, but I highly doubt you actually need 3 a day.
"MOST COMPLETE FORMULA!"2007-08-28 By J. jones (Anderson,IN) I really needed a multivitamin that included EVERYTHING a man needs to function at his best. Opti Men is such a vitamin. Actually its a multi-food supplement that supplies energy, curbs appetite, provides numerous antioxidants, and all the most important vitamins and minerals the body needs for one third of the price of other comparable products. It also makes for a great fertility supplement. This is a must for all health fanatics!
Q: Why should I take a multivitamin? A: To fill in the nutritional gaps in your daily diet. Based on Dr. Weil's integrative approach, the Weil Nutritionals Daily Multivitamin provides a full complement of vitamins and trace minerals necessary to support daily metabolic processes. This formula includes flavonoids, several important minerals, and B vitamins, including folic acid, choline and inositol. Readmore

"I am not a horse -- I am a human being!!"2009-08-15 By jsh (Hamden, CT United States)
Here's a test as to whether these are good pills for you: go buy a small cell phone, and then see if you can swallow it.
There might have the best ingredients since the fruits of Eden but if you can't swallow the little SOBs without almost puking what's the point?
They also smell really bad.
"Too hard to swallow"2009-08-07 By M. Ebert I tried to like these pills because the ingredients seem quite generous compared with other multivitamins. However, I finally gave up because they are so hard to swallow and because they give me a stomachache. The pill covering tastes horrible too and erodes quite easily, making it even more difficult to swallow. When I started to "forget" to take them I knew it was time to switch.
"The seal was warped"2009-06-30 By D. Mazur I bought this item at Amazon -- the pills seem ok but the seal is warped -- They probably stored it in a moist place -- not a good idea
"Horse tablets"2009-06-17 By Randal J. Geringer (The New Texas Republic) These are great but they are huge pills. I highly recommend and will be buying again myself. I have not problem with big pills but other might.
"shipping charges"2009-02-15 By J. Wells (Florida) Weil Nutritional Daily Multivitamin for Optimum Health, Tablets, 180-Count Bottle
I ordered 2 bottles of the vitamins to be shipped together, but was charged 2 shipping charges making the online purchase much less attractive.

"Optimum Taste/Nutrition Balance"2009-05-06 By JC-Austin (Austin, TX USA) High points of these bars:
-Very high ratio of protein to calories
-Very low saturated fat compared to other protein bars,
-Next to no sugars
-Taste (see below)
Given those three, it's really hard for me to complain about the taste. Does it taste like a Snickers bar? No. Does it taste bad? Absolutely not.
If you're comparing the taste of these bars to high calorie protein bars with a lot of sugar and saturated fat, I suppose these don't taste as good, but if you're shopping for protein bars, most likely you'll be better served by something with the nutritional content of Optimum Nutrition's bars. These protein bars are for the person who wants to add extra protein to their diet with a minimal amount of additional calories. If you are looking for a bar with maximum calories to support rapid weight gain, these probably are not the best bar for you.
Flavor comments:
I've tried chocolate peanut butter, chocolate truffle, and toasted coconut, and I found all pleasant, but in order, I found the coconut the best (if you like coconut), followed by peanut butter, and then the chocolate truffle. I will order all of them again, but find myself eating more of the first two than the last.
Results:
Using these bars (1-2 per day) in combination with Optimum Nutrition's 100% whey protein and a fairly rigorous exercise routine (P90x for those of you familiar with it), I've put on about 10 lbs of muscle in 6 months and completely changed the look of my body (shred a lot of fat and revealed the six-pack I'd been seeking my whole life). Obviously the exercise is more important than the protein bars I've been eating, but I find these bars make for an excellent between meal snack to keep my metabolism burning all day long. I keep a stock of these in the cupboard at all times and highly recommend them.

At the core of ON Whey Gold Meal are the same proteins (concentrates, isolates, and hydrolysates) found in our best-selling 100% Whey Gold Standard In fact, these are the only proteins that you'll find in ON Whey Gold Meal. Unlike other meal replacement products (MRPs) which often contain whole milk and/or soy proteins, ON Whey Gold Meal uses only the highest quality whey proteins. As millions and millions of satisfied 100% Whey Gold Standard customers will attest, quality whey proteins are so good, they should be on top of every athlete's list. Here are just a few reasons why: Highest scoring: Not all proteins are created equal. Some are more difficult to digest and absorb. Many are low in one or more of the essential amino acids. Others are poorly assimilated by the body. Protein scoring systems including Biological Value (BV), Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid score (PDCAAS), and Protein Efficiency Ratio (PER) are often used to help classify various protein types based on amino acid patterns, digestibility, and the degree to which the body can actually use the protein for growth and rebuilding. Of all of the proteins out there, whey proteins rank highest in all measures of protein quality. Whey protein is rich in all eight essential amino acids, rapidly digested, and easily assimilated. Glutamine and glutamine precursors: Comprising over 60% of the total amino acids in the skeletal muscle pool and over 20% of total circulating amino acids, glutamine is the most abundan See more technical details

"Great nutrition; terrible taste."2009-08-28 By J. Blumberg (Blue Hill, ME United States) I guess there can be no argument with taste. I've used the vanilla flavor for ages, and love it. I bought the strawberry smoothie because a lot of reviewers were pleased, but I think it tastes awful. You cannot cover up the artificial strawberry flavor even with fresh strawberries blended in.
"Good tasting and high in Protein"2008-12-14 By Jen (NYC, USA) I like this brand of soy protein because it tastes good and is high in protein for a soy protein drink especially if you drink it with milk. The only reason I dropped a star in this review is because it doesn't dissolve completely when mixed with a spoon or fork. There are clumps in the drink. I hadn't tried using a blender or mixer with it yet which probably would solve that clumping, otherwise I recommend it. I just wish it was the same price I bought it for originally which was $27.80 :-(

After taste None
Comment: Wonderful Taste,Best flavor I think i have ever tasted.
I would most definitely buy this is 10 pound bags if able.
2.
Rocky Road
With Water
Taste 2
After taste none
Comment: Made it with 8oz of Water, very sweet taste, sat in
my stomach for 30 minutes like a pile of sand.
3.
Mint Chocolate
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 7
After Taste a little "diety", but not much
Comments: Good flavor, kinda like a girl scout thin mint.
4.
Milk Chocolate
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 7
After Taste Slight "Diety" after taste
Comment: Tastes like a 'YooHoo' chocolate Drink made with Sweet n' Low.
5.
Double Rich Chocolate
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 9
After Taste None
Comment: Great Flavor and could easily be taken after a work out. Does not have
an overpowering candy flavor like some of the other flavors. For a
Chocolate lover this would be great in bulk.
6.
Caramel Toffee Fudge
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 2
After Taste Like you just downed a pound of sugar
Comment: Take this after a work out if you want to vomit. This flavor is Very
Overpowering with Candy/sugar flavors. Ghastly to say the least
7.
Choco Mocha Capacino
Made with Water
Taste 6
After taste Like a coffee, obviously
Comment: I don't mind this flavor, but buying this in bulk is putting your self
in a position to obtain a gag reflex from any thing coffee related.
8.
Chocolate Malt
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 5
After Taste A weird stomach Coating feel
Comment: Ya, it felt like my stomach was being coated in chocolate milk.
Not a good feeling, No way could I drink this on a daily basis.
9.
Cookies and Cream
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 4
After Taste A weird taste
Comment: I don't know how to explain this, it has little crumbs of cookies that have
nothing to do with the taste, this doesn't taste at all like cookies or cream.
10.
Root Beer Float
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 8
After Taste None
Comment: Not too shabby, a strong taste of ice cream with a wet kiss of root beer.
I don't know how I would feel after a work out drinking this, but it is
pleasant.
11.
Tropical Punch
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 7
After Taste Sits in stomach
Comment: Creamy fruit punch taste. The product sits in your stomach however and
and the feeling doesn't pass for a good 20 minutes.
12.
Banana Cream
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 6
After Taste None
Comment: Wonderful flavor however it doesn't measure up to some of the others.
The other fruit flavors were great and this one seem to more like a
Banana laxative.
13.
Vanilla Cream
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 7
After Taste None
Comment: Taste was very much like the Vanilla ice cream. The flavor was good however I
do not think it was worthy of a 5 pound bucket. You would most likely
get tired of this flavor very quickly, and it is very sweet.
14.
Vanilla Ice Cream
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 4
After Taste None
Comment: Taste was alright, seemed to resemble powdered milk mix with extra sugar added
I was not a fan of this one by no means, if you really like Vanilla I would
suggest buying a 2 pound bucket and try that first.
15.
Strawberry
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 8
After Taste None
Comment: My default, one thing to note though is that the "ON" label makes the sample
far different than the bucket servings. The sampler was rather good, the bucket
I would give one less point. This is my default though and I have yet to get tired
of it. I honestly love the Banana Strawberry much more though... BY FAR!
16.
Orange Cream
With vitamin D Milk
Taste 7
After Taste None
Comment: I only give this an 8 because I love the fruit flavors and I love oranges.
This flavor however was VERY disappointing. This tastes exactly like the
wonderful Orange cream pops you used to eat when you were little. After a
work out I don't see how anyone could down a sweet ice cream flavored orange
sugar pop. ...Ya, so I didn't care for this too much, if you like the sweet
stuff, and you love oranges, this could be just for you.
"Bad taste!"2007-12-31 By J. Mara (PA) This protein is the worst-tasting I have tried so far. I've tried mixing it with water, skim milk, and even in a shake, but I had trouble getting past the taste. I wouldn't buy this brand again!
